What questions do you have on your Art + Technology prompt? What questions should you be asking? Read quotes on right.
The assignment prompts are meant to give you a starting point for you to develop questions that turn into a response AND for you to learn more about a subject (tech culture) that has a direct relevance to your life. Make a list of some imagery that comes to mind.
On a card, write your name, the prompt you are using, and 3 questions that you come up with for your prompt. (ie: why would Steve Jobs compare a computer to a bicycle for our minds? Who is Steve Jobs and what has he done for the world?)

“My job is not to produce answers. My job is to produce good questions.”
We constantly want to question and have our work trigger a possibility of self-questioning and questioning about the world: ‘What is the nature of this thing that’s affecting me or that’s around me? What is the nature of my actions upon others or the place where I am at this moment?’ A lot of our projects are an opportunity to learn something about an area or an interest that we didn’t know much about, whether it’s abstract or philosophical or pragmatic. It’s always a chance to learn more about something in the world, and to formulate some kind of a response.
